Can stamps be sold for more than what they cost?

No, you can print off directly from the website without having to pay that. But you can't pay with a debit card under £3.50, although you can create an online account and top it up to use that for small amounts.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Basically what I am saying is why would anyone pay more than 32p for a stamp. None of my customers would!
It's not allowed whether he got them direct through royal mail or from another seller. I could be smart and buy something in his shop that cost 40p and hand him over the stamp, though I don't know if that will go down too well! And yes the lady in the avatar is me

Unlike the sale of TV's the price of stamps is set by a regulator, so just because they don't have a contract with Royal Mail doesn't mean it's necessarily legal to sell them at any price the retailer chooses.0

Ok, so would you pay 40p or more for a first class stamp? I know some stamps are rare eg first day covers etc but a normal run of the mill first class stamp??
Does that mean that its legal to sell an item that has a preprinted price on its packaging for more than what it is in a retail shop???And yes the lady in the avatar is me

I wouldnt personally but I know someone who does just because he can't be bothered to go out and buy them. In fact he lives in Edmonton too. Is it you?
An ebay search reveals this:

Anyone know if you can put a Visa Debit card through as a Visa credit card (like you can with a LOT of retailers) and avoid the minimum purchase?
