I think will stay the same!

It would be nice if it did go down, but with the no smoking laws coming in the gov need to get a bit of money back from people who stop! like me!

No one got an opinion on this?
Everyone has an opinion on if a house crash is coming or not. What about the interest rate. Do you think it will change tomorrow?

I stuck my tick in the it will go up box. If it doesn't this month Feb is a certainty. CPI is highest since it's been used as the IR setting figure & Christmas sales figures were strong. Wage inflation is on the way up, & HPI is running at 10% it's a just a question of this month or next.

Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.

My money is on a Feb rise. I can't see any downward pressure right now but the MPC does like to make slow considered moves, so not this month.

Can anyone tell me as I have a new mortgage for fixed 2 years at a capped rate, if theres a rise before I take the mortgage offer will that reflect on that mortgage offer or not?

As its for two years does it also apply for day one I move in or when I get the mortgage offer, thanks I have so much going on at mo.

So it's gone up to 5.25%. I'm glad as I've just taken out a new fixed rate mortgage for 2 years.
  • why are you glad ? you can be pleased your have just fixed yourself but why does a rise make you glad ?
