hi just joined, i was made redundant on dec 21st, didnt c it coming, boss just shut the doors, wages etc we receive in 5 weeks,having no wage has made me realise how much in debt we are in, ive sorted mortgage out,( dont pay now till 28 feb), secured loan on morgage halifax says i have to default on it before they will help,( insurance on it is in partners name)the debts that ive got is credit cards and and store cards, and a payment to safestyle which is goin to take 8 yrs to pay back,and a payment to hsbc, dont konw what to do about these, if i pay minimum it will take forever,any advise please, im just sick of robbin peter to pay paul,ive got an appiontment with
cab on 25 jan,

Welcome, first thing to do is post your SOA(see sticky at top of page done by Southern Scouser its excellent and will show you how to do it. There are loads of fantastic people on here who will give you tons of advice. Try not to worry too much(not easy I know) you WILL get help. Good luck.

The £2 saver is where you save any £2 coin that you get, there is also a 20p saver club.

If u ever get a £2 coin you need to save it in a jar, they build up quite nicely

if you see soouthern scousers post at the top of the screen it tells you how to do an soa, try an have a look at that.

have u looked into mystery shopping as a bit of income now u have been made redundant, its not much but every little helps

just read southern scouser, glad i did will be doin a soa tomorro, couldnt belive how quick you all were to respond,

oh yeah and im claming my bank charges back, £50 pound last friday for being £1 pound short for a direct debit, i think that made me wake up, and get debt free.

thats how bad they are, i was 26p short once. make sure u get ur credit card charges back as well

everyone on here is mega supportive, absolutely brilliant, one word from these lot an its like a cloud is lifted
