I'm off to a so called gastro pub for a meal to celebrate a wedding anniversary.
I'm stuck as what the dickens to wear.

It's only a pub, so you could get away with smart jeans, although I would be more inclined to go for trousers and a nice top.0

Who are the couple who are celebrating and who's going? If it's granny and grandad celebrating their Golden Wedding, maybe that justifies more of a "special effort" for example.0

It'd give us a few pointers.
