can anyone clarify my position?
I have an amount owing on a personal loan which dates back to 1992, I was burdened with it as part of a divorce settlement in 1994.
I have been paying a regular monthly sum (greatly reduced) UNTIL JAN 2006 this is when I requested a copy of the original loan agreement, apparently this no longer exists. The reason I wanted it was to try and establish how much was still owed and if this figure corresponded with the debt collectors sum.
They are now threatening legal action, therefore do I need to pay the amount there asking for?
