for credit cards and the loan, i'd suggest talking to your bank -
not sure about the car lease, i suggest you speak to a local mainstream dealer who may be able to help / give advice
good luckWe've spent decades teaching people about their rights, but nothing about their responsibilities.0 -
Hi Johnpj. I'm sorry I can't help you, not enough knowledge on this subject. I'm not being pedantic but I found the font size a trifle small, had to almost put my nose on the screen to see it. Any chance of upping the size a bit? Might help other readers.

Ah, I see someone else didn't have a problem, must be my eyesight

Current bankers, there are two, are a major issue.
They have supported me through the recent times, and as I said even allowed my bank account to continue after the Official Receiver declared no interest.
However they have on file details of my bankruptcy, and in order to get cetain things from them, like a full bank account with a £250 cheque guarantee card there are notes all over my files. This was to overide the banks internal automatic controls and make my account go manual to the business managers.
They are also our business bankers and had to overide a number of things in order for us to get going, as I was credit searched as a director of the company and shareholder. They even provided business funding!!
They have said that I must spread their risk, and the notes on my account will prevent further favours.

Hi Johnpj. I'm not able to offer financial advice, however, wanted to say I hope you and your children have a lovely life from hereon. Sounds like you've all had a really rough time and I wish you all the best in the future. Your post is open, honest and heart felt and I truly hope you're able to keep your head up, keep smiling and find the help and advice you need. Best wishes GJ0

TO the op...if i had A medal i would give you one,,,,well done..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
