Good afternoon all
I am in the process of writing to all the companies who have placed a default on my credit record.
One company 'Lowell' have written back to me explaining they purchased the debt from another company called 'Shop Direct'.
They said it was 'Shop Direct' who issued the default however on purchasing the debt the name of the company on my credit score by the default changed to 'Lowell'.
Because of this 'Lowell' say they have no legal obligation provide me with the proof that this default was ever issued.
Does anybody know anything about this?
Thanks x
