Flash player on a mac - so slow & can't find settings

zagubov has provided some good advice, apart from installing Lion on an eMac. Lion (10.7) and Snow Leopard (10.6) only support Intel processors, so the best your eMac will ever do is Leopard, 10.5.
PC and Mac users can share in the problem that Adobe Flash stuff can be a resource hog, especially hf the website isn't very well coded. Apart from upgrading to Leopard and trying Safari, I can't think of much else. Shame that something trivial can bring down an otherwise useful computer. As said above, an old computer under £100 should do the job, you can even plug your mac keyboard and mouse in. Or keep a lookout on Freecycle - anything Pentium 4 and above should do the job.0 -
Dual booting with Linux is some sort is a possibility; there are Flash alternatives:

Obviously you'll have to look into it more yourself, depending on how motivated you are.
I used to hate flash, because it's easier to notice a flash heavy site when it's a poorly designed one. I think most website developers have learnt their lesson.0
