Santander Loan Application
Hi,
I have just applied for a loan with Santander and they have sent me the following email:
Thank you for applying for your Personal Loan provided by Santander UK plc.
Your application is currently being reviewed and you will be contacted within the next 48 hours by either telephone or post to advise you of the decision.
Is this email a sign that they have rejected the loan as on the application they said that they would give me a decision via email?
Many Thanks

hi, anyone know what credit score rating you need roughly for santander loan?"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that!"0

The decision will hinge on far more than your credit score, which in itself is worthless.
More important are your earnings, current credit commitments, past problems, defaults etc.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
It has likely been referred to the manual underwriters who may ask for proof of income.
From experience at a branch level, acceptance levels for a Santander loan for those who do not hold any other form of credit with Santander are low. You will need an impeccable credit history.0
