Hi All and Happy New Year (I've been without PC during the hols so haven't been on the forums for a while!)
Inspired by another thread on here about Chanel making make-up for Bourjouis (spelling?), I have a question regarding my very-favourite-can't-do-without-make-up... the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat. I will be NEEDing a new one very soon and the cheapest I can find it for on t'internet is £15 inc P&P. I don't actually think that's too bad considering I get through 2, maybe 3 a year, and don't really use anything else.
But out of interest, and in the spirit of DFW, does anyone have an alternative that works as well as the YSL one? I tried Clinique once, but it didn't even compare and it's almost as expensive.

Try ebay, i got maxfactor mascara for £3.00 brand new (£12.00) in boots brand new, bargain & it is still going!
Happy bargain hunting0 -
Try eBay, but look for american seller's as the exchange rate is always pretty good ,even factoring in the slightly higher postage you would pay. They usually charge less for their high end cosmetics too"Every time you feel yourself getting pulled into someone else's nonsense, tell yourself: Not my circus, not my monkeys." - Mark Borkowski.

If you know anyone flying Virgin Atlantic Touche Eclat was v cheap onboard last time I flew with them. Otherwise anyone going to the US, I get most of my makeup when I'm out there for work as it's soooooo much cheaper and I'm a bit of an addict x2007 Bronze Olympic Challenge: Total £1057.34 :jDFW Nerd 269: Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0

Check out the Boots No7 Instant Radiance concealer pen. I have read a lot of positive ratings about it and its a lot cheaper. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I use it for dark circles around the eye - I have medium/dark skin so it's naturally darker there, and without Touche Eclat I look like I haven't slept for a month!
Thanks for the suggestions girls, think a trip to Boots is in order to try these recommendations before buying...Proud to be dealing with my debts:dance:

Yep, I support Judi and vouch for the No7 pen. It's so darn similar to YSL (in packaging design and also formula) that I used to think they were made by the same company!
It's really good and often worth getting when there are promotions on. I think it's currently 'Spend a fiver in Boots, get a £5 voucher'. So buy this and then use the voucher to........buy another one!
