Ideas wanted for flavouring whisky!

Having seen and tried some of the flavoured vodkas (oh, it was hard work testing them!!) I just wonder if anyone has any recipes which use whisky as the base. I like whisky already but might like it even more if it had a tasty additive, plus I have quite a few bottles in the cupboard. (Unlike the vodka- had to go and buy that specially!!)
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

can you flavour whiskey?
its very strong
vodka works well as it isnt a strong flavoured or smelling spirit
you could have an essence of type flavour going on

Have made bramble whisky (blackberry) and rosehip whisky in the past. Just add fruit and sugar to whisky and leave till sugar disolved, (takes a few weeks).SPC # 330
