What to get wedding couple who are already living together

Help! My BiL and his partner already live together (and have done for a number of years) and have decided to get married reasonably soon. (I cant mention when in case they are also moneysavers).
However, I'm stuck on what to get them. Since they live together already they have everything they need/want and for a reason I cant mention here I can't get them a high street gift card. DH and I don't see them very often, I don't know them very well and DH isn't very helpful by saying "don't worry, you'll sort it".
Has anyone got any ideas for something a bit different (I'm not handy/crafty at all) and with a budget of about £30-40?
Thanks,

If you can't get the a high street gift card, what about for a particular shop (Debenhams say) or is that what you mean by a high street gift card and I'm being blonde :rotfl:
Do they have kids? Maybe a voucher to say you'll babysit for a weekend?
If you don't know them very well and are really struggling, could you ask if they have a gift list anywhere, then you'll know what they want?
Failing that, I think you've done all you can and as it's your OH's brother I'd let him sort it. :jForty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

I liked the idea of Mr and Mrs mugs.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Yep, Debenhams, etc is what I meant as a high street gift card. If I leave it up to OH, they'll end up with nowt. :-(
There are kids but they've all grown up and left home by now, as its a first marriage for BiL and additional marriage for partner.
They are absolutely wonga'd so that's another reason why I gotta be choosy over what I get as I don't really wanna double up.Spare change tin in force this year!NRAM PPI : £6022.56 - WIN! :jLLOYDS PPI : £4684.66 - WIN! :jMy Pearl of Wisdom : Don't be scared to say "I can't afford it", or "I'm skint" to anything... I think you have added that they are loaded, so this won't apply, but not everyone who has lived together has everything they need/want. We lived together for around 6 years before we got married, but very much just had to make do with secondhand family things or value range stuff as we didn't have any money to buy things we would choose. It has been lovely since we got married that due to our guests generosity we have lots of lovely things in our house and even have some things that match!0

i got my mate that had everything some sundae dishes, sprinkles toppings and ben and jerrys vouchers! It went down a treat. Wasn't expensive but they loved it.0

how about a voucher for a restaurant close to them?
or ask them for their wedding list!! (i know some people on here have very negative views of wedding lists, but this is exactly why most guests really find them useful!).
they'd be silly to not give any guidance as they'll end up with lots of photo frames or bottles of champagne plus 6 toasters!:happyhear0 -
What about a voucher for a canvas print of their choice after they get married? I have used http://www.magicprint.co.uk/ before (local to me and they deliver too) They also have a Facebook page where they do daily deals and offer them cheaper.0

I liked the idea of Mr and Mrs mugs.
This, but go to one of those paint your own pottery places and do them yourself. The mugs should set you back about £6 each and then it's about £4-5 to paint them.
I like the canvas print and restaurant voucher ideas as well."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
