Hi,
Just wondering if we think heating oil will go down further or spring back up again in the coming month? I'm unsure whether to take the plunge or wait.
Thanks,
Steve.

Was thinking the exact same thing myself... Days are getting a bit colder and price doesn't seem to be moving much so hard to say what wil happen. Not exactly cheap at the moment but it could get worse as demand increases!! May just take the plunge myself!!0 -
i was thinking about this a few days ago and decided i'll fill my tank before the end of sep, i really don't think it will go down and if it does i don't think it will be by much or for very long, so i might aswell take the plungeDEC GC £463.67/£450

I'd been monitoring the price since May though it hasn't fluctuated much, bouncing around between £500-£535 for 900 litres. Took the plunge last week when it touched below £500 figuring it's hardly going to get cheaper from here on in.
Normally go through Value Oils but Hayes beat them by a few quid this time plus an extra £5 off with a voucher they'd sent so £490.
Incidentally, if you ring them and pay over the phone just tell them you have one of these vouchers and they'll take a fiver off no questions or proof required.0 -
Demand is usually the determining factor. September is generally a reasonably good month weather wise (kids back to school lol); personally I wouldn't leave buying much longer than the end of the month (September).0

Usually goes up in September. See the 3 year graph on cheapestoil.co.uk!0

Has anyone tried Biolerjuice.com ?
They claim they can get you cheaper than any advertised price, and they email you when they have had a delivery in your area, and when you order they have 2 weeks to deliver but say it is cheaper.
I will be filling up in early October and looking for feedback0 -
Re Boilerjuice, they are not independent

I haven't used them before but if they are cheaper I am happy.“A house is made of walls and beams;a home is built with love and dreams.”2012 Challenge to buy most gifts and non essentials from money made online.:money:0 -

-
just like the song says
the only way is up.......
it could go over £600 for 900 litres this winter if it's a bad one again0
