Choose b/w Ocado or Sainsbury

I happen to have an option between two vouchers-Ocado OR Sainsbury. I cant decide which one to choose as i genrally shop at tesco for groceries. The Ocado one gives £15 off your first order where as Sainsbury gives £10 off on the first order with extra 3.75% discount.

Which one is a better deal? Any suggestions?

  • Why don't you make a comparison shop using a site like mysupermarket using the actual products you would purchase & see which one would save you more money.
It may also be a good idea to check that both shops will actually deliver to your address if you haven't used either before, there will be postcode checkers on their websites.
  • INO Ocado - if you shop on their website carefully you can find stuff which is value for money - the essential Waitrose and the Ocado own stuff have all been lovely when I have bought stuff, and the customer service is second to none. I have never had missing items or substitutions and the delivery has always been right on time, plus the driver texts when he is 10 minutes away.

I also like the fact that on the Ocado site you can buy weighed out meat - so for instance only I l ike the caramilised onion sausage so I just buy two individual sausages, plus I buy the mince in 250g which you can't do in any of the other supermarkets.

I usually do a comparison on my Supermarket and have never found my shopping to be much more expensive than the others, if at all, but I am a bit anal about doing the shop and take ages!!

Thanks guys for your suggestions. Very kind of you all..I feel you all have a point there. So, when i matched up the prices , felt i could use the Sainsbury voucher later as Ocado is giving 50% off on certain products that i require and with the £15 voucher it defintely feels like a safe bet.
