i am pretty new to all this and would really appreciate some help and advice..i am starting college in september 2011 studying an access to nursing and plan to go onto uni after,i was advised to apply for student finance as we a low wage family and i have dependent children.i applied some weeks ago on line and it popped up that i need to send evidence.i sent all the evidence 4 weeks ago and have heard nothing i keep checking online on my sf account and it says they still awaiting evidence..can anyone please tell me
1.how long they take
2.will i recieve anything before i start my course
3.do they usually take this long to do anything.

Other than that, I would be on the 'phone to them.
