Big Brnds disguised as Own Brands

Hi, I read somewhere that some of the big brands produce goods for other retailers that are usually sold under an 'own brand' or different label and at a much lower price than these big brands usually sell their products - does anyone know if this is true and if so, does anyone have any examples of these? I was told that Chanel produce makeup for Bourjois although Im not sure if this is accurate! Hope you can help!

BOURJOIS is owned by the CHANEL company....i remember finding this out a few years ago....and yes they produce the BOURJOIS cosmetics
