sorry,no idea how to post a pic but barcode is AA-5052109618421 8 pack....AAA is 5052109618452... both packs of 8.and can confirm that if you buy 6,12 or 18 they will pay you to take them away as my OH went back to try....bought 6 at 3.50 buy 1 get 2 free cost £21 discounted £24.50!

Just went to an express store but batteries are kept behind the counter, not marked as buy one get one free, not like to ask as no self service tills and not want to draw attention to the glitch. Will try another store in the morning.

Bought 12 packs of batteries, 2 packs Mikado, 2 packs 7-Up light, 2 packs Coke came to £58.68. Total savings £55.10. Amount paid £3.58. Fantastic find OP. If I can work out how to post a picture I will scan the receipt and post it here.
