Where to sell wood in Belfast

Was looking if there are any people buy felled trees for later chopping or splitting? Or who would you sell these onto? I've a couple I'm going to take down.

Did this last week for an uncle. He had a skip out the front as we were stripping the old turf as well. We took down two large trees and cut the smaller branches into logs for his use. The other parts of the tree (large sections of trunk etc), we put into the skip.

He has had about 20 people call to the door asking if they can take some. He was glad to get rid as it makes more space in the skip, but most offered to pay something, which he declined. Has had a few call back with bottles of wine though.

Perhaps you should advertise on Gumtree or Cheapcycle.

as said above, if you say on freecycle or gumtree - you may well get people coming round and taking them down for you FOC. If you want to charge for them - sell on gumtree - you dont even need to split into logs - just cut into rings and people will buy them.
