My Dress

I tried on my dress this week. It was from All for dress. I absolutely love it. I was really worried about tripping over the front of my dress so I had it made a little shorter at the front and the had the back altered to a lace up. I last tried it on in Feb when I collected it.
The modesty panel needs a little adjusting and I need the creases to drop out of my petticoat (has anyone any tips for that?)

Sorry about the quality it was taken on my iphone, then emailed etc by the time I uploaded it the quality had gone a bit naff!!

As mentioned by the other ladies, the creases should drop out - when my mum picked my veil up from the shop, she was told to let it hang for a week prior to the wedding. She forgot, so the night before we hung it on the heated towel rail in my parents' shower room and turned the heat right up. That combined with the steam from the showers that me, mum, dad and chief bridesmaid had on the morning of the wedding helped the creases drop out in time.

Aww thank you! I just can't get over how heavy it is!!

Well luckily my future MIL has all the wedding stuff at her house now so she can hang it up wherever is most appropriate without fear of H2B seeing, I think she hangs it in the bathroom and then moves it whenever we are due to visit.
I had to try the dress on with MIL and one of my bridemaids my MIL kept popping out "I'll just get.." "I'll just do...", then next day she rang and confessed it was because she kept getting teary eyed bless her!
I emailed the pictures to my mum who lives in turkey who responded with the crying stuff too. I've told the pair of them that they'll have to pull themselves together for the day as whenever I cry my chest will go blotchy.

I just have to figure out how to get everything to the hotel (it's 50 miles away and a few of us are staying the night before), I'm thinking of getting my bridesmaid to drive it down in her car and I'll take her dress in mine to stop OH from nosying!
