Dover to Calais ferry

I am going to France in August and was wondering if anyone knew of any discount codes for the ferries??

prices before christmas were £68, now over £90

also I see that can use Tesco vouchers with P&O, does anyone know if this applies to the prices quoted on their website or as with other sites do they have special inflated prices for clubcard deals?

Any help appreciated

I think if you have AA or RAC membership it entitles you to a discount.
We've only used Tesco vouchers for Eurotunnel and we pay normal prices.
There are also qite a few websites which claim to give discounted prices.
    I think Ferrysavers is one.

Have you thought of going Dover- Boulogne with Speedferries - cost of trip is usually about £29 each way and takes just 50 minutes, we use it for trips back to the UK as we live in France.
Boulogne is not that far from Calais.
    Hope this helps

I used Ferry savers in October 2006, I stayed for 3 days in France and the fare was £50 return for the car and 3 passengers, the cheapest I could get it elsewhere was £110 but I had to jiggle the journey times, if I'd got the return ferry an hour ealier it would have been £110, I was half expecting them to say the price was a mistake but it wasn't. Only slight hiccup was I came to join the motorway in Calais down to the Ferry port and as I approached the slip road saw a massive queue of lorries down to the port it was 13.15 and my Ferry was at 15.00 I'd never have made it if I went that way so I doubled back into Calais and the satnav kept wanting me to do a U turn but eventually it re routed me and I was at the Ferry port in 10 minutes. The reason I'm saying this is that if you miss your Ferry you have to pay the full whack fair unless you pay a supplement to make it a flexible ticket at time of booking.
