Does anyone know where to get reasonably priced creosote railway sleepers - need about 5 for garden.
OH went to Wilsons Salvage and they were £19. Just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere cheaper - especially in Co Down area.
Thanks

Try the salvage yard at Nutts corner, they dont mention them on the website, but I used to see sleepers on the drive whenever I passed it, normally on the way to the airport..

The sleepers in The Salvage Yard on Nutts corner were from 18-30ish depending on grade last time I looked. (10-11 months ago, I think.)0

I got prices about a year ago from Ray Grahams in Newtowards and know that Blaine brothers in Saintfield do new ones too, but unsure of current prices.Regards, Robin.2011 MFW # 34

You did well to avoid Wilsons- very expensive.
If I could figure out how to PM you I would make another suggestion about a possible source.
