I used these for my little pots of gold this year. They look very festive once completed.

Haha, sorry.
Pots of gold are what a lot of people on here make for Christmas! Its a pot (or in my case these cups) filled with gold items (e.g ferrero rocher, wurthers sweets, twix, gold coins, a gold lottery ticket) then we cellaphane them up and I use them as table gifts on xmas day.
Will try and find a photo for you

I wanted to ask that question too so thanks .......and yes they are a very good idea though I have to admit to being to lazy to getting round to making some myself :embarasse:hello: “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away” anon.0 -
i have read in the 'preparing for xmas 2011' thread that you can buy a twin pack of gold pots from poundland - although i haven't seen them myself they sound perfect for the job! - thought it might be worth mentioning although these look lovely and posh

HTH x0 -
If I made these and put them on the table, the grandchildren would just eat these and refuse to eat dinner!0
