I wanna buy a cool sexy laptop

One that is small thin and ultra-portable. I'll be using it mainly for Office applications, watching DVDs/xvid movies and browsing the web wirelessly, so no need for the latest and greatest tech stuff. But it has to look good.

Any suggestions for something that would fit my budget (£600)?

No not a chance for your budget. Ultra compact laptops like your wanting are expensive because everything is miniaturized to fit in the smaller case.

You could get a 2nd hand one maybe check ebay but if your open to accepting a lower spec then maybe.

As for sexy I have never seen one that looks as good as Angelina Jolie infact I have never really looked at a laptop as sexy? I bet you pick your car by the colour aswell?

not sure you have the same definition of "small thin and ultra-portable" as the rest of us then.

For £600 you'll be able to get a nice looking 14" (and therefore "not overly small, not overly slim and not especially portable") laptop.

If you want a good looking ultra-thin or 12" lappy you're going to have to spend more.

14" is what I was looking for. 12" is too toylike.

 !!!!!! then dont go asking for "small thin and ultra-portable" they are 12" or less. 14" laptops are not "small thin and ultra-portable"

It's worth having a look in PC World to see what type you like the look of - seeing as that's important to you. But then find the same model / brand on the internet as it should be much cheaper.

    How about this? 8606.jpg

    Sony Vaio £599 from http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Sony_Vaio_BX194VP_VGN-BX194VP/version-1.asp

Never used the store so don't know how they are to deal with. Vaio's are great though, sexy and smart
