Hi im a newbie on this site, and was wondering whether anyone has ever shopped with uxcell.com. Im wanting an mp3 player and these look really good value, but I dont want to be conned. Iv never purchased from Hong Kong before my partner said I could be charged a customs tax, or something, I dont want to pay the site for postage then have to pay more when it arrives.
Any help/advice would be fantastic
thanks in advance

I have bought mp3 in-ear earphones from them (posted previously on this board) and I can thoroughly recommend the earphones (comfort and price).
Regarding the retailer - I found they're rather slow to dispatch (seems to take a week for any progress), and a further week to come from HK, but otherwise fine. I got a £3 voucher with my first (ebay) order, which I spent on my second (web) order. I then received another £3 voucher with this one.
No extra customs tax or anything to pay.0 -
customs limit is around £18, but you should also be aware that a lot of the mp3 players from hong-kong/china do not have as much memory as they claim.
I bough 2 players that were supposed to be 4GB each, but they were actually 1GB - when you connect them to your PC they show as 4GB, they will look like they'll take 4GB of files too, but it's all down to the software on board being hacked to give false reports to windows.
Got a refund for mine inc all postage (ebay / paypal) after playing hardball with the seller.
Ended up getting 2 x 2GB ipods and have to say that for useability, looks, quality etc I think they're better value than the £30 I'd paid for a looke-like 1GB player.
The cheapo ones don;t have the same ability to find songs by artist/album/song/style etc, which is needed when you're holding over 500 songs.
