NSD No 3 for me yesterday!! In fact I actually increased my cash balance as my neighbour has asked me to make her some cupcakes and has insisted on paying me not only for the ingredients but also for my time
I have to say that this challenge is working for me. I was asked if I wanted to buy some draw tickets by a friend yesterday (not for any of the causes I do support) and as I was determied to have a NSD I said no thank you, which she was totally fine about and stayed for coffee and a chat. Previously I would have felt obliged to buy some.
We have a spendy weekend coming up with a local Food Fair that we have promised to take MIL to and a Christening (will use the extra money I made yesterday). Also going to theatre on Sun night as a guest of a friend so hope not to spend too much but will need to buy her a drink.
Will go for NSD's today and tomorrow to keep my target on track** Official DFW Nerd Club Member 009**

Thanks BDINI
It's just work really. Trying to get everything up to date as not a lot got done in my week off, which is frustrating, then there are people that ask really silly questions when I'm in the middle of doing something! I do try to be patient and polite!
I've been thinking that I'd love to stop working for a year, and write a book. I suppose I could still do that while I'm working, but I can't be bothered to do much after work in the evenings. But that's not going to happen, and even if I did it might be a really bad book!
Perhaps I should just buy a lottery ticket instead! :rotfl:
Sorry, rambling on there! Going for a drink with a friend at lunchtime today as she texted me last night to say she's having a hard time at work (that sounds familiar! :rotfl:). So it will be a spend day now.0 -

Hello everyone!
Popping to report that I caught NSD number 4 yesterday! Yay! :j
And I've just caught up with all the posts, so ...
Kerri - Happy birthday for yesterday! :bdaycake:
BDINI - So sorry to hear about your house! I don't think I could have put it any better than good old Nargle - so I'm going to quote the Narglemiester again:Nargleblast wrote: »Bdini - chill, babes, the Force of the NSD gang is with you, and the ex-tenant will meet her nemesis one day. I know, because that is the way I have found things go in this world - that's why we have sayings like "what goes around, comes around" etc. I read somewhere once that the best revenge anyone can have is to lead a good life. You are doing that already, and pond life like that, though extremely irritating, cannot destroy you. You are our Bdini and you are strong enough to rise above what has happened and move on. Someone suggested doing a Mike's Mob on your place - could be worth a thought if any of our gang members live in your neck of the woods?
Thanks for that Nargle! :T You've made me feel better too! My OH and I are having to deal with a lot of pond life at the mo - but your wise reassuring words of karma are making me feel better and more relaxed already!
Unfortunately, I too live in a different part of the world and can not make it to Nottingham to give BDINI a helping 'Mike's Mob' hand this weekend - but I'll be there in spirit for you BDINI!
Have a good day everyone and good luck catching more NSDs!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:
