Oh code, that's horrific.
Can't believe they didn't even bring the man in for questioning! Hope your friends are okay. xx 0 -
I'm so sad to read this! I hope your friend gets better and there are no lasting scars.
Just goes to show that this country is going down the drain . . . what a wonderful country we live in where if a person drinks then their asking for something to happen to them and get what they deserve :mad:Turning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0 -
Oh my! I'm so sorry to read your hen night ended this way

I had an experience along these lines a few years ago. I'd been to a ball with my partner, it had been a lovely night, until some stranger headbutted H2B, for no reason, blood everywhere. I chased him, in a ball gown!, his mother & her 3 friends (I discovered who they were later) chased me, pulled lots of my hair out, grabbed me, I was covered in bruises the next day, I pushed one of them over, I was arrested for ABH, H2B was arrested for drunk & disorderly!
I spent 16 hours in a police cell, terrified, I'm a nurse, thought I'd lose my job, my PIN number that allows me to work, my home! They eventually let me go, on bail, after answering the bail twice, they dropped it. They wanted me to accept a caution for it, I wasn't going to, in my mind I acted in self defence & couldn't get a police record for it! The police wouldn't take into account what had led to me pushing the woman over, said it was 2 seperate incidents!,they didn't do anything about H2B & his face covered in blood! They wouldn't even let him wash his face before they released him the next morning! I even ended up suspended from work because of it all
After speaking to someone who previously worked for the police, who left because of 'targets', I learned that the police need to tick so many boxes for different crimes, so they probably thought this was an easy box ticked!
I can laugh about it all now, but at the time it was all horrific!
I'm glad your friend has taken photographs of her injuries, she needs to go & make a complaint of the assault she has suffered so that the police have to investigate it, well, are supposed to
I hope she recovers very soon, & I know from my personal experience, I now have little faith in the police & rarely go out on an evening, i.e. drinking with friends, though I will go & have a meal, as you just don't know what idiots are around
I hope all gets sorted out for your friend & you too can all laugh about your nightmare with time xx:heartpuls dawnebabe :heartpuls0 -

I'm so sorry your hen night took a turn for the worse.
What a horrid brute that man was and I can't believe the lack of support given from the police.
I truly hope this sorts itself out and that you manage to remember the fonder memories of the night.❤Planned our wedding, still planning lessons❤
