Welcome to MSE...I'm not normally on the DFW thread but there are lots of helpful and supportive people who will have many tips and suggestions for you. The best thing I can recommend is keeping a spending diary to really get to know your finances and then you can take it from there in terms of saving money...all the best with your new money ways!!!0
