forgot to say (in my really long post!) my baby will be 7 months at xmas and in the hamper he will have a new sleepsuit or pjs, a drinking cup, a new blanket and possible one of those tiny bags of milky buttons - we havent started weaning yet, so ill see if hes ready for them at that point.Mummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0

What a great idea, xmas eve hampers. Unfortunately i wonder if my boys are a little too old (10&12) however this will be their last christmas before i tell them that Santa is not quite what they thought he was:( so maybe i should make their last Santa christmas really memorable with a hamper. We already have the tradition of them getting one present on christmas eve and new PJs but a small hamper seems like a really sweet idea.
They are not too old! They will love it. My eldest was 12 last year when we did it for the 1st time, she loved it. Was also the last time that she thought Santa was real thanks to me slipping up at dinner. Oops!0 -
Hi,
I know this is going to sound daft but what sort of hampers do you use for these? I looked for some and they seemed quite expensive. If anyone has links to websites I would be very grateful.
Thanks

What a great idea! Our little boy will have just turned two and we will also have a three week old at Xmas this year. I'm really pleased I read this thread as this will be a lovely tradition to start for our new family0

You can use anything - I used some flexi tubs last year and this year: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=47004571&postcount=6
Year before was a large gift bag and the year before just wrapped them up and put them in a pilePrincess Sparklepants0 -
