Can someone please explain this to me in "idiot proof".

I followed the link and registered, but it only asked for my postcode (no house number) and didnt ask me anything about which match or party packs or anything?

do I just have to wait for a text now or what?

Received a text this morning " Your breakfast pack is now out for delivery and due with you today. To track your park visit... Use parcel number*******

When I signed up for a pack, the tick option was there for the party pack, which only 1000 would be a randomly drawn and given out. But it made it sound that if you went for a party pack and didnt get selected, you get no breakfast pack either? So I just went for the basic...

me too. At least we get the basic.

There is the information. You can actually see where it's coming from... your local delivery home.
