Slightly off topic but I really like their 'hard surface cleaner'- works really well

  • I live with a biological sewage system that runs itself and needs careful pH balance so the EcoEgg was of particular interest to me (we have to be careful what goes down the drains for fear of affecting it).
I've used the egg for several months now and I've thrown everything at it, mud, blood, coffee, grassed-up knees, towels, more mud. I mostly set the standard 40º Daily Wash and I can confirm that it works very well (the egg doesn't imbalance the drum at 1200rpm either). I methodically kept a count of the number of washes and I couldn't really tell the difference between egg #1 on 50 washes and egg #2 on 1 wash apart from a slight increase in the scent. The only thing it had problems with was the blood, but there again Vanish wouldn't shift it either - too dried on. On dried mud there was one cuff on a lightweight jacket that had a trace of it left, but it was in a hard to reach fastening so I accept that. No issues with towels, still soft after indoor drying (it's -2º outside in March!)
For the money, I'd say give it a go, you won't be disappointed and look at the money you'd save as well as your reduced footprint on the environment.
