Fruit leathers

Hi Frugal, you can do whatever fruit combo you like and also add any spices you like, such as cinnamon. The fruit needs to be simmered til soft with a little water and then either pass through a sieve or mouli which gets rid of the skins. - another bonus! I would say no more than 1cm thick on the lined trays otherwise it will take a long time to dry out.2019, move forward with positivity! I am the opposite of Eyeore :rotfl:0

When making these when my boys were younger I used to wait until the leathers were nearly dry and use cookie cutters to cut out shapes.
They wouldn't touch them in rolls but woof them down when cut out..fussy boogers :rotfl:0 -
How sweet! I like the idea of shapes!2019, move forward with positivity! I am the opposite of Eyeore :rotfl:0
