I shall need to find some time to do some ebaying either tonight or tomorrow I think !

A small addition for me today (£2.12) - used DSIL staff discount card to get a bit of packed lunch shopping in readiness for kids going back to school.

Am trying to find some motivation for Ebay (there must be some amongst the boxes and bags of crap!!)
We are having a big push this week, in theory anyway, as we are planning on doing a bootfair next Sunday as they will probably stop soon, and want to get rid of lots of crap in one go so it's quicker and easier than Ebay, even if not as profitable. So I want to try lots of things tonight for a week, then they can be taken out as we pack the car for the bootfair if they finish a week today, and can list a few more tomorrow but for 5 days rather than 7 so nothing sells at the bootfair then gets a bid on ebay in the evening!!!

Did a couple of MS jobs today so I feel like I'm making money, but still nothing to add to my total as I don't count it till it's paid.
Oh, actually, I did get a £10 Consumer Pulse voucher the other day, well my OH did as we umm forgot to tell them when we moved in together so he is still registered at his parents. Same for S&S actually, so we get double to vouchers each month. Whoops!

Also, is everyone else finding that Ebay is trying to charge for listing in 2 categories this time, whereas that was always free on Free Listing Days?? In the past I have just had to be careful that both categorises allowed several photos for free or that would try and charge if one of them did and one didn't, but today I'm finding I get charged one lot of insertion fees. Bloody pain in the bum as when you change categories to take one away, it deletes all of the item specific boxes that had been filled in, so making it awkward for me to relist quickly :(

  • I've got £1.40 to add today, a mixture of coupons used so money put in the pot, surveys & shopping points. This takes my total to: £8.43/£150.

Weather forecast looking like rain so not sure I will be car booting tomorrow, will sort out a few more bits just in case though! I think I'll ebay instead if its raining, but may pop to Maccy D's for free wifi as my internet allowance is dwindling!

Genius! I wouldn't have thought of doing that! May use that tip in future :p

  • And £2 earnt today from helping grandparents. DID get a gorgeous meal too, which I would have payed for, but including that would be cheating... Time to do some late ebay listing, and then some surveys. Will probably do that McCain stuff as well. No rest for the wicked!

  • Well done everyone on the ebay front! I can't believe Misskaytee has managed 44 items items!!! I have managed 5 and I'm bored!! But that's five more than I would have done without the challenge so I'm happy!!

On a good night I have received a cheque for £43 from my car insurance company because they miscalcualated my insurance quote. I'm going to count that as money saved because I was willing to pay what they charged in the first place because it was still cheaper than last years!

I also got a £5 morrisons miles voucher and my eyeliner just ran out so saved £5 with my boots No 7 voucher. I'm going to count that because its the brand I buy anyway!

Plus I had 7 items sell on ebay last night but I'm not going to count that until I have worked out all the fees and postage costs etc... So hopefully that will be another amount to add on monday!
