    Gambling debts are not legally enforcible and I think a lender would find itself in some difficulty defending a complaint that it unfairly withdrew a mortgage offer on those grounds in much the same way as it would if it withdrew it because, say, you had spent that much on watching your favourite football team (assuming it wasn't Crystal Palace!)
