in Cutting tax
Hi, hope I'm posting in the right place, couldn't find a more appropriate one!
My son has just had his first pay slip after starting a job 3 weeks ago and there are 2 entries on it that neither of us can find any reference to in a google search. One is TIC EES (a deduction of £60) and the other is TIC ERS (a deduction of £70).
Can anyone throw any light on their meaning please?

I will guess it is National Insurance - employees which is a deduction and National Insurance employers which is paid by the employer and is not a deduction. Failing that can you post up all the entries on the payslip?0

EmploEES and EmployERS pension contributions, possibly.
But the place to ask is really the employer's pay office!A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Double check the figures
It above is the case then EES should be a deduction
ERS should not be a deduction and is for information onlymake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
