Tesco Wholewheat Penne 22p!

Got one pack of the penne yesterday and saw two more bags right at the back (on the top shelf).

Well short-arsed me thought i'd give it a go and managed to drag them off the shelf, to find the bag was ripped and i got a shower of penne all over my head. Twice. Oops. Worst thing was i'd had to ask some ignoramus to let me in cos they had their trolley surgically attached to their hand and were blocking all the pasta. They must have lol'd.

had loads in Tesco Rainh*m today, although no spaghetti and the arriabata sauce was 45p :-(

I havent seen any spaghetti in my store but we often have the 22p pasta so i always pick up a couple of bags each time I pop in, its not as nice as 'normal' patsta, i find it a bit sticky but it was nice in a pasta bake (with my 'free' soup!), I couldnt taste the difference!

miss lady, i also use it in a pasta bake, mix it with a bit of normal white pasta and use the soups, i cant taste the difference either!

Thanks OP. I eat a ton of pasta, good stuff. Off food shopping at Tesco this morning so I'll pick up half a dozen myself.

They have this in Tesco Ingleby barwick and sel says 22p

None in either Leicester Beaumont Leys or South wigston. (They do have the italian lasagne sheets for 17p though in the Beaumont store) x
