Hello
I have been a lurker on this site for about a year now, and thanks to this board and a few others, I have learnt so much and really made a difference to my life
I'm Sanaa, I'm married with a 1 year one old daughter, work full time in healthcare
Basically, we had a period of over a year where my husband was made redundant, we eventually saved up together and he now runs his own business, unfortunately in doing so we ended up running up a lot of credit card debt and took out a personal loan:mad:
But..things are starting to get more on track, the business is finally giving something back, I am back at work, and we are slowly paying off our debts:o
All this would not have been possible without all of your tips and advice which I have picked up
I also should thank the Old Style board, they're amazing:T
After the debts our next aim is to overpay the mortgage, hopefully things will work out
I just wanted to introduce myself, I have been a lurker for too long and just needed to take the plunge, always felt too shy to post before
Thank you all again
Hopefully I will post more often
Sanaa

Hi, welcome on board. It sounds like you've got loads of valuable advice. Please stick around and help posters out when you can.I'm a qualified accountant but please make sure you get expert advice as any opinion is made in a private capacity.

I have also been reading the forums for some time and yesterday finally took the plunge and registered and posted.
