One clue is the word FUDICIARY - bit of a malapropism on fiduciary - dont touch it!!!
  • Sounds like a 419 style scam. Bargepole job!

Ignore it, Angel Eyes, it's a scam. See here: http://www.joewein.net/419/419-vodafone-online-promo.htm

All kinds of giveaways in this one:

Vodafone UK would never use a Chinese Yahoo (yahoo.com.cn) email address to receive email.
    The typo on fiduciary/fudiciary.
The (Rev) after the agent's name. 419 email senders seem to tend to have a religious bent, claiming to be priests, reverends, etc.
Are Vodafone involved in a lottery anywhere, let alone one which gives prizes in GBP?
And using Franz Beckenbauer as their "lottery co-ordinator" is a stroke of genius.
  • As many have already worked out this is a scam email. Working for Vodafone we've certainly got no record on our campaigns and current promotions section. If ever in doubt either contact the company they claim to be representing, or paste the email text into Google to bring up plenty of search results (chances are it will have already been recorded on a lottery scam site)
