can someone help me i know i must sound sooo dump but what is a iva and a dmp?i keep reading about them and think i have some idea but could really do with a bit of help?thank you

Hi
Don't feel bad about not knowing these abbreviations - I didn't know at first. An IVA is an individual voluntary arrangement - it's not as serious as bankruptcy, I think, but along those lines. A dmp is a debt management plan - it's recommended people use charities rather than pay companies to help with these.
