in Cutting tax
My mum passed away in January this year, and i am trying to sell her house, without success.I am thinking of renting, but at the moment the house is in her name,so it could be sold without tax implications.
In order to rent i would have to have the house transferred to me,but if i then decide to sell, would i then face tax issues on the money for the sale.
cheers

In reality we need a whole lot more information about you, the property, the estate your family and any other beneficiaries.
Do you live in England and Wales?0 -
I am a little confused here and I am honestly not being pedantic or facetious but, if your mother has passed away, how could the house still be in her name? Was the house left to you in her will or does it pass to you automatically?0
