The Eight Day Week

Options
I don't know if this has been put forward before, but it occurred to me today and I thought it seemed like a good idea!

If you are on a weekly budget, as I am, what about making your week's money last for 8 days. If you can do it for 7 consecutive weeks, then you would have a whole week's money saved!

I'm seriously thinking of seeing if it can be done...starting this coming Friday (which is the day that my financial week starts (well, for this week only!)).

Does anyone think this is a good idea:j or is it riddled with flaws that I can't see?:o

I'm going for it. I'll have my usual amount of money on Friday and it must last until the Saturday 8 days later, when I can have my next lot of money, which will have to last until the Sunday 8 days later!

In theory it sounds easy-peasy.....I wonder what the reality will be like!

Quite looking forward to it now.:j

So, over the year you'd save around 7 weeks worth? or is my maths up the creek? ;)
Sounds good to me in any case.
