Tesco offer - Thomas pans

My husband bought the griddle pan from Tesco last week and has used it once for fish. He is very pleased with it. He says it has a heavy solid base that sits well on the (ceramic) hob and heats evenly.
He went back today and purchased two saucepans and a frying pan. I do like the straining glass-lid designs for the pans - better than our plain stainless Le Crueset ones!
I'd be interested to know how realistic the "RRP" prices (that are then apparently discounted by 70% using the tokens) really are. Frankly, if they last well, they were probably worth the £15-£20 each that we paid.0 -

Thanks,
I have not been getting them since end of August.I was collecting these for my friend and she asked me the other day if i could drop them off before the deadline. I said that i was not aware they were still going, seems that i have been missing out for weeks.0 -
Anyone interested in the pans - you have up to 6th November to redeem the vouchers.0

Hi, i bought the 7.5L stockpot, and was a bit doubtful of the quality as we make preserves, but upto now (touch wood) it has been very good, used over 30 times, nothing sticks to base or sides, only downside is the handles do get very hot. Hope this helps.0

Any one know of any stores near Nottingham that have any of these pans left? Many thanks:jPobodys Nerfect:j0

I purchased several pans and put away ready for when we move to our new house. However, I recently needed to use one of them but have noticed that after a few uses the underside of the pan has one spot which has blackened and appears to have burnt. This theory was proved when I took the pan off the hob and placed it on a material pad (designed for hot dishes) and when I lifted it up again this "spot" had melted the pad and is now stuck to the underside of the pan.
I am now wondering if I should test the rest of the pans before it's too late. Has anyone else had any such problems?0 -
Have the smaller saucepan and frying pan. Saucepan handle does get hot if i have the gas too high, but find i dont need the gas as high as with other saucepans, also it cooks quicker even with gas lower as the pans hold the heat.
The frying is brilliant always using it and only needs a wipe clean. I have marks also on the bottom of them but nothing too bad just general use. Would now like some of the larger ones as my current ones nonstick stuff is all scratched.:female:0
