Lovely too. We usually buy wholemeal bread, but at this price, it's a nice treat! :j

Many Thanks CharleneUK ... I'll pop that one on too!

The Kohniorr (sp?) Basmati rice is heavenly! I purchased it when it was on BOGOF last time. At £3.99 half price, an absolute bargain!

I looked this one up ... to check the spelling ... we eat a lot of Basmati so I normally buy a 10kg sack ...

This one is actually on BOGOF ... £3.99 for a 2kg Jar ... so you get 4kgs and two nice plastic storage jars this way ... If you like this particular brand then it is a good deal as the next size up is Kohniorr 5kg which is £7.99 ... so a big saving ... Or if you bought 6 (paying only for 3 of course) you would get 12kgs for £11.97 ... cheaper even than the 10kg bag of this brand at £12.99 ... and you get 3 super jars too ... can you tell we use a lot of jars in our house ...;)

However looking at what else is on offer ... Tesco's own brand Indian Basmati is £3.39 for 4kgs at normal price so this is cheaper overall .... I know ... too much detail .... :rotfl:

They are both on deals at the mo, you have the 2kg on bogof £3.99 or the 5kg for half price of £3.99! I purchased the 5kg half price as you are getting an extra kilo. I purchased this in store, though.

Previously, it was the 5kg bogof, so it was £7.99 for two (This was ages ago, though)

:rotfl: :rotfl: You and jars eh!? lol, I actually still have 1.5 jars of brown basmati rice from the same brand, which I think it just nasty!! Can't bring myself to eat anymore.

The 5kg one comes in a bag.
