Can my wife lose her car because of me??

Hello all, i will be declaring myself bankrupt shortly, my wife has a car on finance in her own name, its hp and there is 3yrs left its worth £3000. i use this car to get to and frow from work, i put £150 fuel in a mth, and i pay half the finance which is £120 mth,.when i go bankrupt can the courts take it from her because i use it and pay half?....thanks a lot.

    If it is only in your wife's name then the answer is no, but if it is in joint names then the answer may be different. I have read on these forum's somewhere though that even if you are made bankrupt you can still keep your car if you actively need it for work.
    Someone wiser who knows more should be along soon.
