freezing - thawing - freezing again - ham

Hi guys,

I benefited from the meat glitch at Tesco and i put 6 packets of ham in the freezer earlier today.

I was wondering if i can thaw them.. make my sandwiches for work and freeze them again (in my sandwiches)
or would that not be a good thing to do?


P.S:
Anyone is free to add anything else that they are unsure about freezing/thawing.. like can we freeze cadburys twin pot yoghurts... and muller rice? :rotfl:

I wouldn't refreeze them in sandwiches. I've always been taught that raw meat can be frozen then defrosted, then cooked then frozen then defrosted and reheated. The ham is already cooked though so I think refreezing it could be a bit risky. Why not just freeze it and take one pack out at a time.

You can freeze the yoghurts etc but they go really hard and split a little so need to be fully defrosted and mixed up before eating, you cant just eat them straight from the freezer.

ah i see,
Looks like i will be doing a few sandwiches at a time then, cant be complaining when it comes to free ham :rotfl:

I dont like the sound of split yoghurts.. so i will rather give them away then let them go to waste
