Cannot see default in credit file

I lived in 4 different houses since 2003. Experian report shows up all my linked address. I have defaulted Natwest credit card in 2006 and since then I've moved 3 different places. Credit Report does not show up my Natwest default. I think experian did credit search only on 2 previous addresses and present address.
I would like to leave as it is, as its not showed up as default in my credit file.
Can any lender have a sniff about my Natwest default if I apply for credit product??
