Asda home shopping - amending order

Hi, we usually use Tesco in the main for online grocery shopping but have used Asda on the odd occasion. Have booked my delivery and needed to add on an item, it lets you do this just like Tesco however I had to re-enter my card details and do the veri-sign authorisation all over again. I've never had to do that with Tesco - is that usual for Asda? Dont want to be charged twice.

I fell out with Asda a while ago, as I amended an order, which is fine, but they froze the original amount total AS WELL AS taking the actual total at time of delivery. It took a few days for them to release the money, which was over £100 in my bank account. I was absolutely fuming as I needed to pay a bill.

    Buyer Beware!!

I now use Tesco and have NEVER had any problems... even the drivers are really friendly & polite!!:A
