Macenzie and Hull ??

hi all
i wonder if anyone can help ?
just a quickie , has anyone heard of a company by this name ? or a similar name ? they called this morning my partner said and theres a ringing as you answer the phone , and then it connects ? does this mean they have charged the call to us ?! , also they asked for me and my partner said he`s at work so they just put the phone down ?!

they called an hour or so ago as well , except they didnt , they sent a text ! with this man firing out a reference number to quote , so i called and gave the reference number and the man said sorry thats not being recognised , so i said well what do you want and he said `i dont know` ?????!!

i couldnt beleive it

anyway , i just wondered if any one else had experienced these people ? and if so , what do they do ?
i put it in this forum because i do have a debt that i am paying off monthly with a company calle first credit managment and wondered if maybe i`d been `passed on ` without even knowing about it !

thanks in advance anyone !

    Hi...

"is it usual to be passed around various credit agencies ??"

    Yeah - just a bit !!!

Ive got some debts that seem to be on a conveyor belt, rolling from one company to another every few months (or so it seems).

Whilst it can often trigger a new round of 'phone calls', the good news is that if the companies are buying the debt, any settlement figure you might offer gets lower and lower - so Im always quite happy when someone new comes on the scene.

Also, I get a chance to speak to new and interesting people - what joy!

    All the best
