not sure of your area- so i just did a quick google search and the first one that came up says-
As a guide, our prices vary from £300 - 600 (local) to £500 - 700 (out of area), all dependent on the time of yearIs a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

In gloucestershire we were looking at Clearwell Castle as a possible venue but expensive. Only way we could use this venue is if we left it to maybe 6-8 weeks before we want to get married in 2013.....0

what do you mean about only booking it 6-8 before your wedding date?Is a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

I don't know how much Clearwell Castle is or if you wanted the castle look but a really good venue in Gloucestershire is Dumbleton Hall which I think is cheaper from a quick look at Clearwell. Just an idea if you think Clearwell is too expensive.
No idea about horses sorry but I'd love to have that at my wedding.0 -
Clearwell Castle has special offers for certain dates e.g. at the mo for October 2011, so we were thinking perhaps they might have this come 2013.0

Yes horse drawn carriage would be a lovely idea we are planning to save £20k in the next two years (so it might be an unrealistic dream!!)0

if the £20k is for your wedding- you do not need that amount of money! Mine was £5k and many many people have done it for less.
quickly google your area and wedding horse drawn carriages come up with loads of resultsIs a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

Horse Drawn carriages are lovely, I think i was quoted £700ish for a 1/2 mile journey to church and then back out of church after.
Just remember they are slow so not very good if you intend to go a long distance (and want to get there this week).
An average horse walks at around 2-4 mph and trots at around 4-10mph (but would get tired pulling a carriage at that speed for any distance). In order for us to have a horse i would have had to have had a car and then changed and done the last 1/2 mile by horse. Same on the way out of church. I didnt think it was very elegant to be bundled in and out of cars in my dress and we just didnt have the time in the days schedule to do it.
