I'm not convinced they would have got there without the design brilliance of Jonathan Ive. At least he'll still be with the company AIUI.

Job of the CEO to recruit the right team in the first place :o

Well there's the i-Blog. A sort of Blackberry only totally secure. Arrange your riot in total privacy, knowing that not even a journalist could hack into it, let alone the police. Available at a discount for the unemployed, as part of a 'Yob-Creation' scheme.

Then there's the i-Bike. A sort of solar-powered attachement to fit to any Boris-Bike in seconds. It means you don't have to pedal, and the i-Bike will maneouvre the bike effortlessly across London, avoiding the riot black spots, using a totally sustainable, low-energy, carbon-neutral, locally-sourced, organic, energy source.

Also under development is the i-Price. A handheld gizmo that is in touch, 24 hours a day, with every single house price statistic, in every area (including Aberdeen), the minute they are published. Land Registry, Rightmove, Nationwide, Halifax, you name it.... A special feature allows you to download 'comment' from up to 160 journals, magazines, newspapers, and the Daily Mail so that you can receive expert commentary, analysis, and interpretiation so that you can understand every single part of "2% up" without having to consult HPC...

And finally, for the limited market of MP's, Lords, Quango bosses, and Local Authority staff. The i-Expense. Simply load all your expense items in [Duck houses, second homes, Llamas, silk underwear....] and get them instantly re-arranged and analysed under 'official' categories of "Allowed", "Probable, but never boast about it.", "Only claim within 2 months of retiring, or an election.", or "Not on your life, sunshine."

Or only three days' benefits, but ironically, the unemployed never needed them. Now they only have to set the 'alarm' function on the bedroom 52" HD Plasma to automatically record the Jeremy Kyle show and wake them up at noon to watch it.
