Yogurt Pots

We seem to get through a heck of a lot of yogurt in this house, which makes for a lot of empty pots. Our council recycling service won't accept yogurt pots (wrong type of plastic maybe?) so I was wondering whether any of you lovely OS-ers had any good ideas about how to reuse them?
I have been thinking of using them as mini-plant pots for seedlings. Does anyone else have any bright ideas?
Thank you as always
Evie

Cut them up to use as plant labels once you've planted those seedlings
that's all I've got for now but I'm sure someone will come along with lots of good ideas!
Ooh could use to organise paperclips/board pins etc? Those fiddly things...0 -
I had one of the organic yoghurts the other day not sure what company and it broke down into cardboard (recipe included) and plastic pint beer glass style.. both of which can be recycled.. great idea I thought..What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0

Sounds like Yeo Valley.
I used to save the pots for growing seedlings. Kept a clean stack behind the sink. One afternoon, we had a BBQ and the guys all helped themselves to the "plastic pint glasses" by the sink.
These days, I mainly save them for parties."Be the type of woman that when you get out of bed in the morning, the devil says 'Oh crap. She's up.'

They are good as seedling pots - I use a candle to make a hole in the bottom for drainage. You can use them as fruit juice lolly moulds, jelly moulds, freezing small portions of pureed fruit or leftover sauces. And if you make your own yoghurt you won't have any anyway"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." ~ Vivian Greene0

Donate them to your local primary school/playgroup? They can be used for junk modelling, paint pots, glue pots, etc etc.0

yog pots are a nice sized pot - for say a dessert portion - could you make up a batch of your favourite pudding and freeze them in individual pots (foiling or cling-filming the top maybe)saving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk
made loads last year :beer:0 -
I use the smaller ones for freezing individual portions of sauce for pasta, veg etc. But still have loads left to find a use for!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
